I’m often drawn to the question of what it means to feel safe in our relationships — with others, and with ourselves. As an immigrant and Vietnamese woman, I understand how our early experiences, cultural expectations, and family dynamics can quietly shape the way we connect, love, and protect ourselves. Sometimes we find ourselves repeating patterns we don’t fully understand — longing for closeness, yet unsure how to reach for it.
My approach to therapy is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment-based work. I see emotions not as problems to fix, but as important signals that guide us toward what we need — connection, safety, and understanding. Together, we will gently explore the patterns that show up in your relationships, uncover the deeper emotions underneath them, and create space for new ways of relating.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, supporting you in navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, and moments of disconnection. Whether you are feeling stuck in cycles of conflict, distance, or self-doubt, we can move at a pace that feels safe for you. I offer my services in both English and Vietnamese.
I strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome — your story, your culture, your relationships, and your emotions. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

I began working with individuals and couples in 2016 as a relationship coach and later chose to pursue training as a psychotherapist so I could deepen my clinical practice.
I chose to specialize in couples because I was fascinated by the question, “Why is it so hard for two people who love each other to make it work?” I’m obsessed with helping couples maintain the fire of passion and intimacy in their relationship by learning how to use conflict to evolve and deepen their bond.
My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment theory, focusing on emotional safety and responsivity, relationship patterns, and the attachment system responses that shape how we connect, protect, and repair. I work with couples and individuals to make sense of emotional reactions, discover their developmental growth edges, and create new experiences of understanding and intimacy.
Within an emotionally focused foundation, I integrate elements from Imago Therapy, the Gottman Method, the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy, Relational Life Therapy, Developmental Couples Therapy, and Gestalt-informed experiential work. My goal is to keep sessions experiential, collaborative, and responsive to your evolving needs.

Sometimes it’s hard to explain why you feel the way you do. You might notice yourself getting stuck in the same patterns—in relationships, in your thoughts, or in how you respond to stress—and wonder why it keeps happening, even when you’re trying your best to change it.
In our work together, we’ll gently slow things down and make space for understanding. I’m not here to judge or “fix” you, but to walk alongside you with curiosity and care as we explore what’s been shaping your experiences. Often, the ways we cope or protect ourselves make a lot of sense when we take the time to really look at them.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in connection. I draw from Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), the Gottman Method, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and more to support both individuals and couples. Together, we can explore your emotional world, strengthen your relationships, and find ways to respond to life with more flexibility, clarity, and intention.
I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, and questions around identity and self-worth. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply looking for a space where you can be yourself, therapy can be a place to begin again—at your own pace.
